UQ Racing had another testing day at the Queensland Raceway this week. The team did some reliability tests and driver training, before the mid-year car upgrade proposed in July.
"The Friday test was a matter of hope for the team. It felt great to get another test session in before exams halted all progress. The session helped us all feel like the team was maintaining momentum. The car's reliability was excellent, running for three hours until needing to retire. It's good to know that every problem we solve here is one less we have to deal with in Melbourne. That being said, the car was sensational to drive. It's a rocket and once you can anticipate the classic FSAE car understeer it's incredibly quick through the corners. Gimme More!" - Jacob Knowles, Test Driver and Senior Mechanic
